Mac Magee (SmoothJazz Saxophonist), Sherman Kyse (Smooth Jazz
Saxophonist), and Otis Carter (Jazz Trumpeter/Jazz Band and Band Director), all
of which have been formally trained. Richaude has maintained relevance at local
venues as well as traveling to various markets on the U.S. mainland.
Musical journey:
“Richaude” started playing the drums in the church at age four, and was later
introduced to the keyboard at age 7 with formal training from a community
musical figure. Richaude became a Theory and Musicianship Major at Alcorn
State University and later switched to Psychology and Social Science as an outlet
to create opportunities within the local community.

talent which is recognized in various markets. C. Richaude Dorsey is considered
one of the most respected Smooth Jazz Artist within the Gulf Coast market.3

He's been recognized and provided awards at various institutions of higher
learning regarding the challenges associated with life’s journey as an entertainer
and has remained transparent with his personal struggles while addressing the
student bodies at Jackson State University and Alcorn State University. He has
remained a catalyst for change regarding suicide prevention and seeking help
with addiction up until the present.

C. Richaude Dorsey is known for his impactful keyboard skills, and is also a
vocalist, which is foreign for the majority of instrumental jazz artist. Richaude’s
musical influences span from George Duke,Brian Culbertson, Gerald Albright,and
Norman Brown all of which can be detected by his audience.

Richaude has also been a comedian for over a decade, an internet influencer, a
United States Army Veteran, and an event host being afforded the opportunity to
collaborate with various celebrities in the entertainment industry such as Joe
Clair (former BET Comic View Host), and Shawty of BET Comic View). In addition,
he has hosted Celebrity Fashion Shows alongside Jocelyn Hernandez of VH-1's
Love and Hip Hop. Richaude has been provided numerous opportunities hosting
